Katherine Crowley, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Crowley began working with animals at the age of nine where she volunteered at Hingham Riding Stables, she was on the equestrian team at Mount Ida College and then became a certified riding instructor through Briggs Stable. She later worked as a veterinary technician at the Franklin Park Zoo, Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, Chestnut Street Animal Hospital, and became the head technician at Lakewood Emergency Hospital in Colorado. She also volunteered on two Remote Area Veterinary Services (RAVS) trips in Mexico.

Dr. Crowley spent the first part of her career as a general practitioner where finding herself and her patients limited by traditional western methods, she became interested in a more holistic and integrative approach to medicine- encompassing the art of acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

She received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Colorado and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Saint George's University in Grenada. She also completed her acupuncture training through IVAS in 2015 and the Chinese herbal medicine course through A Time to Heal in 2024.

She spends her free time learning about gardening, herbal cultivation and with her husband, stepdaughter, three cats, at the moment... five chickens.
